TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Online Rentals Policy - Online reservations will be confirmed or denied within 24 hours of submitting Online Reservation Form. Confirmation will include terms for payment arrangements. Items are not guaranteed until payment in full is made.

RESERVATION CANCELLATION POLICY: Items cancelled more than 7 days prior to arrival will be issued a refund, less a $15 administrative fee. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will receive an in-store credit for other rentals. Once Rental Items have been checked out, there will be no refund given.

All equipment is used at the lessee's risk. We exercise precaution in keeping our equipment in good condition. Conditions which prevent satisfactory operation of equipment do not relieve lessee of his/her responsibility of rental charges. Lessee assumes all responsibility for equipment while out of possession of lessor, and promises to return such equipment to the lessor in as good of condition as it was at the effective date of this lease. Natural wear from responsible use is accepted. Lessee shall be liable for any loss, theft, damage, or destruction of leased property.

All equipment lost or damaged beyond repair will be paid for by the lessee at the regular replacement price; and all damaged equipment which may be repaired will be repaired by the lessor, in return thereof and the cost for such repairs will be paid by the lessee. Accrued rental charges cannot be applied against the purchase price or cost of repairs, or such damaged or lost equipment.

All cartage charges must be born by the lessee. Replacement equipment and cost thereof shall be decided by Lighthouse Resort Services, Inc.

Scheduled Rental Rates begin the day of your arrival as indicated on this form and continue until the return of the equipment. A $15.00 cleaning fee will be incurred on items returned unclean.

I agree that all charges for rental, damage, cleaning or material will be paid, and that all collection fees, attorney fees, court costs, or any expense involved in the collection of these charges will be borne by me in the court of the county in which indebtedness occurred.

All items reserved from TCC Surf Shack are setup and tended daily by Lighthouse Resort Services staff at The Currituck Club Public Beach Access.

Hurricane Policy: In the event a mandatory evacuation is issued a credit will be issued in the amount of the difference between daily and weekly rates. In all other situations, there will be no refunds due to weather or acts of God.


Surf Shack Accounts will be settled at the end of each business day charged to the above credit card unless other arrangements are made in advance. "Lighthouse Resort SVC- Corolla" will appear on your credit card statement. Only users specified at the opening of an account will be allowed to charge items to a Surf Shack Account.

We will respond by email or telephone within 24 hours to confirm your order and send our credit card authorization form to be faxed or emailed back. Once your order is confirmed we will process your credit card.
